While there are auspicious and inauspicious times during the day, it is advisable to avoid these time of Rahu Kalam and Yamakandam for starting any new activity . Please refer to the week and time given under the same.

Generally Please add the difference of the Local Standard time and Indian Standard time. The above is based on India Standard time. Eg if you are in mumbai the local time is around - 38 min . So you may Add 38 min to the above to arrive at the local Rahu kalam. So on a Monday Rahu Kal from 4:30 to 6:00 pm as per above table, will be actually 5:08 to 6:38 pm IST (which is 4:30 to 6:00 pm LST). While there may be difference of Opinion on this subject, I leave it to your discreation.
